Altern8 AI is a product of piBits AI Solutions Pvt Ltd (“piBits AI”), based in India. We build private enterprise AI intranet software. Our contact email is [email protected].

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to respond to your deployment request:

• Contact form submissions — your name, work email, company name, industry, and deployment requirement description
• Email correspondence — emails you send us at [email protected]
• Website analytics — anonymous page view data (no personally identifiable information)

We do not collect cookies beyond what is strictly necessary. We do not track you across the web. We do not use advertising pixels or third-party tracking scripts.

3. What we do not collect

Because Altern8 runs on your infrastructure:

• We do not receive, process, or store any data you enter into your deployed Altern8 instance
• We do not have access to your documents, queries, or AI responses
• We do not receive telemetry or usage data from your deployment unless you explicitly share it with us for support purposes
• We do not collect card or bank data on this website — annual licences are invoiced directly and paid by bank transfer

4. How we use your data

We use your contact form data solely to:

• Respond to your deployment enquiry within 24 hours
• Prepare a deployment plan tailored to your infrastructure
• Send you relevant product updates if you have opted in

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties except as described below.

5. Third parties we use

• EmailJS — used to route contact form submissions to our inbox. EmailJS processes your form data in transit. Their privacy policy is at emailjs.com/legal/privacy-policy
• Cloudflare — hosts this website. Cloudflare processes page request data as part of their CDN service. Their privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy

6. Data retention

We retain contact form submissions for 12 months, after which they are deleted. You may request deletion at any time by emailing [email protected].

7. Your data-protection rights

Depending on where you are located, you have rights over the personal data we hold about you. In most cases these include the right to:

• Correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Request erasure of your personal data

We use industry-standard security practices for data we hold. Contact form data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored in encrypted email. We do not store form data in any database on our end.

9. Where your data is processed

This concerns only the limited contact and enquiry data described above — not your deployed Altern8 instance, which runs entirely on your own infrastructure and is never accessible to us. Because piBits AI is based in India, contact and enquiry data you submit through this website is processed in India. If you are located in the EU, UK, UAE, or elsewhere, submitting your details constitutes a transfer of that limited data to India for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. We handle it only as described in this policy and delete it on the retention schedule above or on request.

10. Children

Altern8 AI is an enterprise product intended for business professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as our practices change. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the latest version.
